yay! my computer is set up!

February 11th, 2006

My monitor came this week so my computer is finally all set up. YAY!

That is pretty much all I had to say. Am looking forward to catching up on the colbert report, my soaps, and watching the olympics some this weekend…nothing too exciting. Just relaxing - after this past week I really need that. Was a long week with spending more time in airports or on planes than I did in phoenix.

Time to find out what the friday cliffhanger was this week on young and the restless (important stuff ;) )…

realization…

February 10th, 2006

What a relief, I used to think that I cared if I sat in the front, back, or over the wing of the airplane. However, since I have sat in all 3 locations this week I realized that I hate flying just as much either way (still need my aisle seat though…). Good to know.

yay…bwi…

February 10th, 2006

Just arrived in bwi a few minutes ago. Flight back from phoenix was an hour shorter than the flight out..so it wasn’t too bad. My flight to albany is delayed a little but I don’t care much, would obviously like to get home sooner but I don’t have to worry about missing any more connections so it isn’t too bad. Flight was pretty smooth…I don’t anticipate that being the case on the way in to albany cause that always seems to be a little bumpy, but I will see.

So tired…so very tired…I really wish I could actually sleep on the plane but have never been able to.

Ok, so how hard is it for people to understand “due to security reasons, passengers can not form a line outside the bathroom at the front of the plane”? People must have done that at least 5 or 6 times today (and yes people, one person waiting outside the door is considered a line in this context - how many times did the flight attendants have to mention it?). The flight attendant jokingly (I think?) threatened to hog tie the next person that did it - that’s how many people were stupid on my flight today.

Ok, back to waiting for my flight…

on my way home…

February 10th, 2006

So I’m sitting in the airport again. Flight leaves in 1 hour or so. Another 4.5-5 hour flight ahead of me…can’t wait to just be home…though right about now I would settle for baltimore cause at least then I would have a much shorter flight ahead of me.

Oh well…at least the meeting was worth it for the most part.

That was weird…just had to go across the airport to switch gates because the plane we were going to use “isn’t going to work today”. At least we are still leaving on time.

I am so tired…didn’t sleep much last night…hopefully I can catch up on the plane.

Ok, seriously what is with people in the A boarding group on southwest getting on line to board 45 minutes early? You get a good seat wherever you are in line for the A group so calm down people…

arrival in phoenix…

February 8th, 2006

The flight wasn’t too bad today. The pilot kept saying that a lot of turbulence was coming up (and had the flight attendants sit down) but it really wasn’t bad (and that’s from someone who hates flying…). Was a long day, but its pretty out here (and 80 here is much nicer than ny 80 so the heat isn’t bad), I would be interested in coming out here again sometime when I would actually have time to see stuff (which I very rarely say during business travel).

Well, back to waiting for room service…
