I know I haven’t been great at updating this week, stuff has just been crazy with traveling last week, traveling next week, doing stuff in the evenings, and trying to get my daily exercise in (really important to make sure I have some energy at least).
Anyways, so, as some of you know, my dell laptop died on me months ago (in case you were wondering, I usually send in updates from my blackberry [yes, I am one of those people
]). I didn’t want to get another pc cause I have never had one last me for more than 2 years (cause they, like, suck and stuff), my most recent laptop just stopped turning on altogether (it made a noise, but that didn’t do me much good without the screen actually appearing), so to my sister’s delight, i bought a mac today (waited til after i completed my taxes…and yes, I know, i do them really early, just ripping off the band aid I suppose
). Got one of those mac minis, don’t have a monitor yet (I am using it now though, am using it through my tv cause I was impatient and wanted to try it out with something between now and when the monitor I bought on ebay gets here [picked up a flatscreen/lcd viewsonic monitor that was way less expensive than the monitors that apple currently sells).
I have to say its a little weird typing on my tv, but I really didn’t feel like waiting for a week-a week and half for the actual monitor to try out the computer and the adapter wasn’t too expensive. Plus, its cute and that’s what is really important
Had considered getting another laptop (cause I have wireless at my apartment and that seemed to make sense) but if I am really lazy and don’t want to move from the couch much to look something up, I figure I can grab my blackberry (which I can sync up with my desktop now - isn’t that cute too?
) and the mac mini is just really cute, my sister has the same one and really likes it. So I am looking forward to getting my real monitor and finishing the actual set-up.
Anyways, my updates on here will probably be more frequent now that I have a better set up at home to do this with.
