random updates…
Have been pretty busy lately…that trend is expected to continue over the next few weeks. Have my mid-term coming up in electrochemistry on Monday (how am I halfway through that class already?). Then am traveling wed-fri to phoenix for a one-day meeting…then come back for a week and a half…play in a concert for orchestra…travel to denver. Then when I get back from denver its time for the end of the year project reviews here at work. So somewhere in there I need to put together a presentation too…
So, in other words, other than some random updates on trips, etc. I wouldn’t expect to hear a lot from me on here over the next few weeks… Will try to update periodically though. Luckily my travels will give me plenty of time to catch up on my reading of moby dick for the book discussion group.
When people hear that I am traveling they still say “Well, must be nice to see all these places.” Once again, I really don’t see places…typically the whole trip consists of traveling there and back and going to meetings that take up all of your time. Not too exciting. For example, by the end of next week I would have gone to Phoenix twice this year, but can I really tell you anything about Phoenix other than that it has an airport and a Hyatt hotel? Nope. Sad considering how long of a trip it is. Wouldn’t mind going there sometime though for personal travel, weather seemed nice from the few times I was outside. See how it is next week.
Am happy about the fall weather here though, I wish it could be fall all year round (i know, i know, it couldn’t be fall all the time cause when would the leaves grow, etc….I get it, but that doesn’t mean I can’t WISH that it were possible though, right? 
). Getting to wear sweaters but not having to drive in snow, its the perfect combination! My sweaters get very lonely in the summer
