The Argument Clinic

So last Friday I went to see the holiday with gill and jim. I really liked it, kate winslet and jack black were surprisingly cute together, and I liked jude law and cameron diaz together too. There were also some good side characters (like an old man that kate winslet becomes friends with).

Then this past friday (2 days ago), I went to see the trans-siberian orchestra at the pepsi arena with the kulps. The concert was amazing! Really good music and lighting effects, etc. If you have never seen them in person, highly recommend it sometime. It made me feel a little more like it is christmas time (which I have a tough time with this year…).

Then yesterday I went to see the good shepherd with sarah. About the beginnings of the cia, matt damon played the main character. Good movie, though if you want me to sympathize with his wife in the movie, you really have to have someone other than angelina jolie play her (and make the character entirely different to begin with). I do recommend it though in spite of her being in the movie

Somehow today is my 27th birthday…not sure how that happened, where did the year go?

Yay!  Got my labs in over this past weekend and took my final yesterday.  All done   Have no idea how I did, but can’t worry about it now cause there is nothing I can do anyways.  1 class down…9 to go…

Time to process the fact that its my birthday in 4 days and christmas in 5…not sure how that happened at all…

So I know I have been really bad at actually updating on here lately (lately as in the month of december)…but between preparing for the end of the semester (2 labs to finish and a final one week from today to study for) and working 10+ hour days at the office more times than I can count over the past few weeks due to end of the year craziness, almost all of my extremely limited free time has been spent passed out in exhaustion on the couch. Since my computer and blackberry are frequently across the room from me, the whole blogging thing doesn’t happen since it requires movement…which can be difficult when my limited mental and physical energy needs to be reserved for operating the tivo remote Mostly stopping to update tonight cause I am on my way to the kitchen for a cup of tea… Plus, my project review is done and went well, so I am somewhat less stressed this evening

At least its almost christmas…which means I get a break for a few weeks before classes start up again. Not taking vacation really with the exception of a couple days, but won’t have class on top of work so that will seem like a vacation…sad isn’t it?

Work is going well lately, so can’t really complain there. Just don’t expect to hear from me again on here until the electrochemistry final is done Looking forward to a little slowing down time after that so I can actually process the fact that its almost 2007…

Planning to go see the movie holiday this weekend before the serious cramming starts so will update on how that is. Ok…on to watching house, its tivo’ing as we speak!
