busy busy…
So things have been pretty busy here lately. Work has been especially crazy because OSHA comes for the VPP re-assessment today. Since part of my job is to be the EHS contact for our organization (~80-100 people + lab spaces), that has meant fielding ~100 questions/day (at least that’s what it has felt like…) for the past few weeks. But, luckily, at the end of the day today most of the work I need to do for it should be done (YAY!). Plus february/march are always pretty busy because people are just getting over the slow-ness of january.
Haven’t had to travel at least, which has been nice. Am traveling next week, but am actually looking forward to it for once. San diego should be a welcome change from the gloomy ny winter. Don’t mind winter at first, but am so ready for it to be over!
Have the first of two mid-terms wednesday so we will see how that goes. The other one (water systems) is supposed to be a take-home, which usually means that they are extremely difficult (at least that’s what take-homes always were in undergrad), but i’ll see how that goes. Wish me luck though! :)
Went to my parents yesterday for my mom’s b-day (which was actually march 5th), my sister was busy moving apartments and such but we still managed to fit in a nice dinner of chinese take out.
And thanks to the kulps I am finally caught up on battlestar galactica (starting watching during season 3 so needed to go back and watch 1 and 2)….but am still pretty pissed off about the march 4th episode (no spoilers gill, don’t worry)…haven’t watched yesterday’s yet…expect it to get worse though since it’s nearing the end of the season and the annoying cliffhangers that always go along with that. Grr….
