The Argument Clinic

So classes finished on monday, which was a relief!  Just waiting on grades now, but all the work is done at least.  Made it through two classes in one semester!  YAY!  Total of 3 classes done…7 to go… 

Took tuesday and wednesday off from work and relaxed at home.  Refused to think about anything work/school-related at all, cause I really needed a break.  My last work/school-free day was sometime in march, and it wasn’t that relaxing cause I was procrastinating at the time

My sister was up yesterday because she had to take a final and we watched a couple movies and hung out.  Watched music and lyrics, which was cute though I thought the chemistry between drew barrymore and hugh grant was somewhat lacking.  Also watched Because I said so, which was ok, had some cute parts, but i wouldn’t watch it again and probably wouldn’t recommend it to others.  I hated diane keaton’s character and didn’t care for mandy moore’s either.  Normally like mandy moore in movies, but her character was in desperate need of a backbone. 

Back to work today, but still enjoying that when I get home today, I have no homework to think about!   Need to enjoy that between now and may 22nd when my summer class, introduction to surface and colloid chemistry, starts up.

So gilmore girls is ending after 7 seasons.  Will wrap up on May 15th.  Kind of disappointed, but not really surprised because it seemed like it was heading in that direction.  At least I know now, so I can have some closure   Now just need to find out about scrubs…

So it’s the time of year for series/season finales of shows.  This year is a little frustrating though because both scrubs and gilmore girls are up in the air, can’t find confirmation anywhere as to whether or not it’s the end of one, both, or neither of these shows.  According to nbc’s announcer last thursday, its the last few episodes of Scrubs on nbc.  I have read that it may go to abc (since it’s owned by them) for their last season or it may just end.  I know I have tons of other stuff to focus on right now, but it’s just a little annoying when you aren’t sure if your favorite shows are ending or not.  Will have to wait and see I guess.

On a different note, nearing the end of the semester, classes ended yesterday and my inorganic materials final is next monday.  Finished my water systems class on sunday when I submitted the take home final, nothing has been graded so far for that class (or I haven’t been told if it has), so I am pretty clueless as to how I did on homeworks, etc.  A little annoying, but will just have to wait and see how the grades turn out.

Have my concert for orchestra on friday, so have rehearsal tonight and thursday night for that.  Limits my studying time this week somewhat, but at least i have this weekend to catch up on reading (basically the only studying I actually do for exams).

Have had a very busy month preparing for the end of the semester, but at least it’s over in less than a week!  And then I have a little time to relax before i take introduction to surface and colloid chemistry this summer.
