irish music, etc.
So I spent most of my weekend at the irish 2000 music festival at altamont fairgrounds. Had a really good time 
Was pretty cold on saturday and windy, with no place warmer to go really, but had fun anyways. Really enjoyed flogging molly, enter the haggis, greenwhich meantime, young dubliners and seven nations. Was nice to have a break from grad school-related stuff for a while too More than I can say for this coming weekend, which I expect to be filled primarily with homework.
Also went to the new ll bean store that opened in colonie center this weekend, was really packed with people, good size store and nice to have one so close to where I live. Though, as I said earlier, the store in maine with always be my favorite Have never seen that many people at colonie center before, so am thinking there is very little chance that I will go to the store between thanksgiving and christmas when I am guessing it will just be insanely busy (though I generally try to avoid shopping in malls at all that time of year anyway).
