So the last few weeks have been pretty draining, was very relieved to have yesterday off from work.  A couple weeks ago I went to tampa, left wednesday afternoon and was back in albany around midnight on thursday.  Was a long trip and involved way more time in airports than at the actual meeting I went to.  On the bright side though, my time waiting around in airports gave me more down time than I had in a while and I read Steven Colbert’s book I am America (and so can you!) in about 3 hours in the tampa airport.  Thought it was really funny, though I may have looked a little odd laughing to myself occasionally in the airport :)   Oh well, the people dressed for halloween the day before looked much weirder, so I am not that concerned.

It is definitely weird to travel on halloween because some people were dressed weird, but I wasn’t sure if it was weird enough to be their halloween costume or if they actually dress that weird normally…guess I will never know :)

My mom visited and helped me decorate my christmas tree, I know many people think it’s too early but it makes my apartment more cheerful so I don’t care :)

This past weekend we had our orchestra concert, which went well.  My grandma came to see it and we went out to dinner afterwards.

Other than that, been pretty busy with work, classes (midterms, homework), etc.  Can’t believe it’s almost thanksgiving, but I’m ok with that because it means I am closer to the end of the semester and my classes being over!
